Didier Marlier
Didier Marlier, Co-Founder, (Belgian/Swiss) is interested in understanding how human beings contribute to improve the organisations they chose to support, while developing their own full potential. He specializes in large scale organizational change (Leadership Engagement Processes), LeadershipDevelopment and Team/Individual Coaching at Executive and Board levels.
Most of his current projects are about reconciling the three key agendas in organizations: Providing Clarity and Engagement on the Strategic/Business Agenda, through large scale Mass Engagement Processes, developing value building Leadership Styles through the appropriate Behavioural Agenda and ensuring Motivation, Passion and sustainable Performance through the building of a shared Emotional Agenda.
His recent work (past three years) has been with firms such as ABN-AMRO, Carl Zeiss, DSM-Vitamins, Freshfields Bruckhaus & Derringer, Fortum, Ipsen Laboratories, KPMG & KPMG-Meijburg, FIDAL tax lawyers, McAfee, Medtronic, Nokia, R.B.S., Rhodia, SHV or Somfy. Didier has been Associate Professor of Change & Leadership in Nyenrode University (NL), for six years, as well as visiting Professor in Insead and EHL. He holds a degree in law and graduated with an MBA from IMD. He worked for a leading consultancy specialising in strategy, process improvement and cost reduction in a variety of industries including services and manufacturing. He is a certified M.B.T.I., Belbin, FIRO-B, O.C.I., Leadership Impact, Situational Leadership, Team Climate Inventory and Emotional Competencies practitioner. Didier co-authored a book with ex Cranfield/IMD professor Chris Parker, “Engaging Leadership” which is to be published in April 2009 by Palgrave/MacMillan.
Didier has accomplished his childhood’s dream, living between the ski slopes of Villars (Switzerland) and the sunny beaches of Praia do Forte (Bahia – Brazil). He is the lucky husband of Cris and proud father and guardian of Betinho, Marcos and Thaïs.
